Jo Ann E. Burkholder, 44, Garrett RD 1, died Jan. 29, 1982 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. She was born March 5, 1937 in Garrett, daughter of Richard C. and Elsie Mae (Walters) Haer Hoover. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Harold Haer. She is survived by her mother of Garrett; her husband, Richard; and two sons, Rick and Randy, both at home. She was a sister of Mrs. Harold (Helen) Christner of Garrett; Mrs. Blaine (Phyllis) Vought, Cleveland, Ohio; Norval Hoover and Robert Hoover, both of Garrett; Richard Hoover, Southington, Ohio; and Floyd Haer of Meyersdale. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin where services were held with the Rev. Jack M. Hazlett officiating. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
