Obituary of Clara Crawley

Clara Bell May Quigley Crawley, 86, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Crawley was a native of Vernon, Fla., and a lifelong resident of Gulfport. She attended school in Pass Christian and Gulfport. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James "Jimmy" Quigley Sr. and C.L. Crawley; a son, Wayne Joseph Quigley; her parents, Ira D. May and Nancy Morrell May; a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, James E. "Eddie" Quigley Jr. of Gulfport; two daughters, Nancy Annette Hilby of Perkinston and Janice May Bowen of Rockwood, Tenn.; four stepchildren; a brother, Jesse May of Biloxi; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
