Mr. Roberts was a member of St. Phillip's Episcopal Church in Palestine and the American Legion. He was the grandson of Oran Milo Roberts, governor of Texas in 1882 He was preceded in death by his first wife Lois Josephine "Jo" Roberts. His second wife, Elizabeth Roberts, also preceded him in death. The Roberts family lived in Breckenridge between 1949-1968. Mr. Roberts was a McKesson Pharmaceutical salesman while living at Breckenridge. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church at Breckenridge.
