Edward C. Christner, 93, of Meyersdale, was dead on arrival at the Meyersdale Community Hospital on May 9, 1988. Born March 9, 1885 in Garrett, a son of the late Mahlon and Matilda Pritts) Christner. Also preceded in death by two wives, Gertrude Engle and Louella Donahue. survived by a son, Carlson, of Hermosa Beach, Calif. Also survived by a sister, Catherine Brant, of Meyersdale. He was a member of the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett, the Meyersdale American Legion and the Meyersdale V.F.W. Arrangements, in charge of the Leckemby Funeral Home in Meyersdale, are incomplete.
