Jerry Alan Rigby passed away peacefully, at the age of sixty-three, September 14, 2011.

He was born September 4, 1948 in Price, Utah, the son of Therald and Thelma Rigby. Jerry was deeply loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Music was the love of his life. Jerry had many wonderful accomplishments ranging from lead singer in a high school rock and roll band, "The Dukes", to twenty-five years in the Oratorio Society singing Handles Messiah in the Tabernacle, many musicals, road shows, Student Prince, college groups, started and conducted a youth choir, duets with his dad, Therald, performing at weddings, funerals, churches, and family gatherings.

Jerry enjoyed working in the restaurant business at LeFleur De Lys, First Security Bank private restaurant and LaCaille, also worked at Franklin Covey and Comcast.

Jerry also enjoyed trips to Sri Lanka with his friend, Kevin Jones, get-togethers with his family to play Spades, and eat mom's homemade carrot cake.

Survived by his parents; brother, David Rigby and Holly Sawyer; nephews and nieces: Jason (Khrisha), Stacey, Wesley, and Apryll.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), with a viewing at 9:30 a.m.
Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Utah.
