MRS. CROOK DIES AT 66 IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Katherine Jane Crook, 66, died Friday noon at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
A resident of Markesan, she was born Feb. 25, 1904, in Portage Prairie, Columbia County, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hughs Roberts.
She married David Crook June 6, 1925.
Survivors include her widower; five sons, Roy of Markesan, Arthur of Oshkosh, Glen and Thomas of Rosendale and Donald of the city; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Giffey of Oshkosh and Mrs. Marjorie Schultz of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Mrs. Evertt Bradley and Mrs. Irene Williams of Randolph; and 31 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at United Methodist Church Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Homer Retzlaff officiating. Burial will be in Green lake Center Cemetery.
Friends may call at Krause Funeral Home in Markesan from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and until 11 a.m. Monday and at the church from 11 a.m. until service time.
