He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Corps in the Pacific, was the former president of the Sebring City Council, a Sebring Fireman, member of the Human Relations Council, a former Elk, was the first male president of the PTA, a member of Toastmasters, had been very active in the First Christian Church, a former Boy Scout Leader and an editorialist. He is survived by his daughters, Benni Heacock, Joy Eastman and Gay Bruce; Son - Lance Eastman; 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
