Jamie R. Scranton, age 38 passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Lakeland, Florida. Mr. Scranton was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to Robert and Carol (Hamilton) Scranton. He was the owner/operator of Scranton Lawn Service, he was of the Christian faith and a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida. He is survived by his wife - Tracy Scranton of Avon Park, Florida; children -Brittany Scranton, Brooke Scranton, Eli Scranton all of Avon Park, Florida and Hunter Scranton of Wauchula, Florida; parents - Robert and Carol Scranton of Avon Park, Florida; sister - Nicole Scranton Clinard (J.C.) of Lakeland, Florida. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Avon Park with Pastor Bob Johnson and Pastor John Rogers officiating.
