ELTON--Funeral service for Mrs. Lucille Granger Pickett, 68, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 8, in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. The Rev. Pat Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Friday until the time of service.

Mrs. Pickett was a resident of Elton that loved Cajun music, country music, and love singing gospel music. She was a loving and caring mother that will be greatly missed. Mrs. Pickett passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, Adam Pickett of Leesville, Richard Pickett and wife Beverly of Leesville; two daughters, Kathy LaFosse of Elton, Phyllis Tidwell and husband, Terry of Lynnville, Tenn.; two brothers, Joseph Granger and Paul Granger both of Pine Island; five sisters, Anna Mae Pickett of Elton, Lena Mae Trahan of Lacassine, Agnes Guidry of Jennings, Sedonia Deshotel of Baton Rouge, Gladys Gary of Hathaway; five grandchildren, Laura Burch, Wendy Hickman, Earlann LaFosse, Joshua LaFosse, Shelly LaFosse; and five great-grandchildren.
