Gwendolyn F. "Gwen" McDougall Rogers, 78, passed away on August 31, 2011 following a short illness. She was born July 14, 1933. Gwen was a former resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, before retiring to Port Charlotte with her husband, Ken, in 1994. She attended Central Indiana Business College and was a legal secretary for Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan in Indianapolis prior to retirement. Gwen enjoyed traveling, playing cards, numerous friends in Florida and Indiana, and following her favorite local bands. She is survived by her sister, Sarah Ellen Weller (Mark); brother-in- law, William Rogers; three children, Denise Larosa, Jill Paulsel (John), and Ken Rogers (Diana); 8 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, Ken. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society . Memorial Mass in Indianapolis is pending.
