Graveside services for Bess Thomas, of Meadville, are 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Midway Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thomas, 100, died Feb. 19, 2010, at Meadville Nursing Home. She was born in Lawrence County on Aug. 24, 1909, to George Turnage and Annie Elizabeth Wilson.
She was a retired beautician. She was a member of Meadville Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Gortie Thomas; and several siblings.
She is survived by several nephews.
