Miss Pelham Obituary:
Miss Mattie Pelham, head of the Statistical Dept. of Davison-Paxon Co. where she has been employed for 33 years died Friday morning at her residence, 781 Sherwood Rd., Atlanta, Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Peachtree Chapel. Miss Pelham was a niece of Major John Pelham, famous artillery officer attached to Stuart's cavalry in the Confederate Army. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. D. W. Sullivan of Atlanta, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. J. P. Pelham, of Byersville, Tenn. Atlanta nephews and nieces are Pelham, D. W., Jr., and Jack Sullivan, and Miss Martha Sullivan.
