He was born Mar. 7, 1871, in Jackson Center, and lived in Lima 26 years. Mr. Woodruff was a retired stationary engineer for the Lima-Hamilton Corp. and a member of Zion Lutheran church.
Surviving are his widow, Sally; three sons, R. A., 1315 E. Elm-st; G. E., 878 W. Market-st; E. G., 787 S. Metcalf-st; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Myers, 217 S. Kenilworth-av, and Mrs. L. G. Van Horn, Columbus; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain in Lewis funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Monday in the Memorial chapel. The Rev. Maurice White will be in charge, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
