1/23/1964- Tuttle Times:
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan 17, in the Pentecostal Holiness church for Bill Main, 75. Rev James Cross officiated. Mr Main passed away Wednesday, Jan 15, at Mercy hospital, where he had been a patient for almost a week. Born in Sherman, TX, he lived here the past 17 years. He was the last survivor of a family of 10, 6 brothers & 3 sisters had preceded him in death. He was married 2/14/1937 and attended the Pentecostal church in Tuttle. Survivors are his wife, Mable, of the home, 2 sons, Sammy of Muskogee & Billy Ray of Minco, & 1 daughter, Bernice Marie Haley of Oklahoma City. Pallbearers were Joe Hartin, Bruce Hambleton, Russell Hambleton, Howard Rich, Vearl Barnes, & Troy Streber. A quartet furnished the music. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery under direction of Capitol Hill funeral home.
