On Wednesday, October 1, 1997, George Marion Russell, 81, a retired foreman, Grapevine, Texas, left this earth to spend eternity with our Lord. George is an veteran of the US Army. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. George was born February 14, 1916 in Ludington, Michigan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gladys (Miller) Russell; Elleen M.Klein and her husband, Greg, of Gladwin, Mich.; sons, Bennett L. Russell of Grapevine, William G. Russell and wife, Linda, of Gladwin, John D. Russell and wife, Katherine, of Lake Jackson, Lee P. Russell and wife, Linda of Conway, AR., and George T. Russell and wife, Pamela, of Pottsboro; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In loving memory of George, a memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3 PM at St Francis Catholic Church in Grapevine and will be laid to rest the Lonesom Dove Cemetery of Southlake, Texas.
