Billy Jack Coleman, 71, of Memphis, retired production foreman at Kimberly Clark Corp., died of lung disease Tuesday at Methodist Hospital (Central). Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a member of Mountain Terrace Baptist Church, a Sunday School director, a WW II Navy Veteran, a Shriner, and a member of the Frayser Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.

Mr. Coleman, the widower of Mary Eloise Coleman leaves a daughter, Pat Butler of Atoka; two sons, Mike Coleman and Terry Coleman both of Memphis; two sisters, Hilda Carlock of Nesbitt, Miss and Nida Douglas of Oxford, Miss; four brothers, Roland Coleman and James Coleman both of Oxford, Horace Coleman of Hernado, Miss and Robert Coleman of Nesbit, and seven grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Lung Association or Mountain Terrace Baptist Church.
