"Sarah Virginia Boley was born in Todd Co, Kentucky, August 18, 1841, and died at her home in Medicine Lodge January 31, 1923, age 81 years, 5 months, and 13 days. On July 20 1864 she was untied in marriage to Richard V. Gant, and to this union was born, Thomas Warren who died when three years and two months of age, Joseph Lee of Medicine Lodge, Walter Scott of Runneymede, Kansas and Minnie May Adams of Medicine Lodge. She is survived by a sister of Sharon Grove, Kentucky, nine grand-children, eight great-grandchildren, and of these descendants all but one are present."
