Henry Boucher, one of the pioneer residents of Jackson county, died at his home in Murphysboro Sunday morning, aged nearly 86 years. Death was due to erysipelas. Mr. Boucher was born in Pennsylvania, but has been a resident of Jackson county since 1840. He leaves a widow, to whom he was married in 1854, one son D. L. Boucher, and five daughters, all of whom reside in Murphysboro, with the exception of one daughter who lives in Kansas. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, interment in Tower Grove cemetery.
