Mrs. LOUIS SHEPARD
ENFIELD, N.H. - Mrs. Cora (Abrams) Shepard, 88, widow of Louis Shepard, of Enfield died unexpectedly at a hospital in New London, N.H., on April 19. Born in Kansas City, Mo., she had resided in Enfield most of her life.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Reynolds of Bennington and John Reynolds of Clermont, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Dorothy) Shurlock of Winslow, Ariz.; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The funeral was held at Chadwick Funeral Home in New London.
Mrs. Shepard was one of the early Western pioneers, traveling in the Midwest by covered wagon and at one time had lived in the very house where Jesse James had been shot.
