Born in Troy, Mr. Dalton was a lifelong resident of the city. For a number of years he had been employed at Manory's as an ice cream and candy maker. His wife, the former Miss Madeline Wellington, died in 1939.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Louisa Dalton, of his city; a daughter Mrs. Norman F. Bowen of Northside, Waterford; a grandson, Frederick E. Bowen, 2nd; a sister, Mrs. John Duncan of Troy; a brother, Thomas E. Dalton of this city, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted from Thomas E. Dalton's residence, 174 Hill Street, Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Gray M. Blandy, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, will officiate.
