Funeral for Jacob Lloyd Pearce, 95, Tuttle, was held Friday, 9/1/1995, in Sowers Memorial chapel, Tuttle. Rev Gene Rosebecks officiated.

He was born 9/21/1899 in Paradise, TX, the son of Oliver Nelson & Nina Elizabeth (Sparks) Pearce, and died Wednesday, 8/30/1995, in Tuttle. He & Mary Etta Mattingley were married 8/17/1923 in Springtown, TX. She preceded him in death. Mr Pearce was a farmer and dairyman. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons, J.B. Pearce Jr & James E. (Pete) Pearce, 2 grandsons, & 1 great grandson.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Leatha Ruth Meader of Oklahoma City & Marjorie Holley of Norman, 1 son, Robert Lloyd Pearce of Noble, 1 sister, Faye Williams of Wewoka, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, & 1 great great granddaughter. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.
