Cray Duelley, 81, of Millstone, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Parkersburg.

He was born in Gilmer County, the son of the late Edgar and Vergil Pearl Harris Duelley.

He worked 32 years in the oil field, retiring from employment with Carl Morris. He was a farmer and raised cattle.

Surviving are one daughter, Debra Griffin and husband John of Creston; four sisters, Lilly Gay Wilson of Glenville, Mary Virginia Sprouse of Ohio, Flora Kathleen Merriman of Pennsylvania and Georgia "Maggie" Harold of Stinson; and two brothers, Loren Duelley of Wellington, Ohio, and Edgar "Bub" Duelley of Newberne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Allen Duelley, in 1978; two sisters, Elvy May Yeager and Betty Jo Maxwell; and three brothers, Ray Duelley, Fay Duelley and Dorsey Scott Duelley.

Services were scheduled Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Carl Marks officiating, and burial in Sturm Cemetery, Millstone.
