MISHAWAKA - Esther A. Gasko, 83, of Mishawaka, passed away at 5:32 AM Friday, September 9th, in her residence after an extended illness. Esther was born on November 12, 1927, in Flint, Michigan, and had resided in the Michiana area since 1979. On February 26, 1966, in South Bend, she married Edward S. Gasko, who preceded her in death on July 30, 1976.
Mrs. Gasko is survived by a daughter, Connie Sue Quier of Mishawaka, IN; three sons, Frank D. Quier of South Bend, Paul D. Quier of Flagstaff, AZ, and Frank E. Gasko of Mishawaka, IN; two brothers, Charles Wagner of Waterloo, Alabama, and Thomas R. Weaver of South Bend; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren whom she loved and cherished.
Esther was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cared for her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, a daughter, Deborah M. Klaudsz, and a son, Gerald V. Quier.
