Milton C. Bauck, 79, of 4015 26th Ave. Rock Island, died Tuesday at United Medical Center, Moline. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island, where he was a member. Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hodgson Funeral Home Ltd., Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society. Mr. Bauck was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Dubuque, Iowa. He married Lucille Baumann May 23, 1932, in Rock Island. He was employed as sales manager for 29 years at Fidlar and Chambers, Davenport, retiring in July 1, 1975. He was past president of the church council and active on many of the church`s committees. He was a former member of the Agenda Club, and the former Mill Creek Country Club, Milan. He was an accomplished violinist, having played with the Dubuque Symphony. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening. Survivors include the widow; brothers, the Rev. Herbert Bauck, Petaluma, Calif., and William D. Bauck, Dubuque; and nieces and nephews.
