John W. Baker
John W. Baker, 94, of Montevallo, died Saturday night at the Nevada City hospital following a brief illness.
He was a member of the Christian church and was married to Anna Word (sic) in 1900 [18 Jun 1899]. She preceded him in death in 1961.
Survivors include one son, Ual Baker of Andover, Kan., and one daughter, Mrs. Marie Hatfield of Nevada; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Montevallo Christian church with the Rev. Charles Kincaid of El Dorado Springs officiating. Interment will be in Virgil City cemetery under the direction of Long funeral home of Jerico Springs.
