Angel--Mrs. Effie Snelson, 78, of Tenino, born April 24, 1875, at St. Louis, MO. Died April 8, 1953, at an Olympia hospital after a month's illness. Former resident of Chehalis, where she lived for 40 years. Moved to Tenino in 1940. Member of the Presbyterian church in Chehalis; Order of Eastern Star, Rebeccas, Women of Woodcraft. Survivors include one son, W. R. Angel, of Raymond, three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Metz, Wendel, Idaho; Mrs. Otha Bailey, of Couer d'Alene, Idaho; Mrs. Edna McArthur, of Tenino; four brothers, Walter M. and Thomas Snelson, both of Centralia; Hugh and Richard Snelson, both of Pe Ell; three sisters, Mrs. Dursey Belew, of Everett; Mrs. Maude Rhyne, of Pe Ell, and Mrs. Annie Smith, of Pe Ell; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and 20 neices and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Wilson, of Tenino. Saturday at 1:20 p.m. at the Sticklin Chapel in Chehalis.
