Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Cowden, with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Cowden.
Mrs. Cihak was born May 13, 1901, in Cowden, the daughter of Samuel and Tilla Sapp Phipps.
She was a member of the Christian Church and the Eastern Star Lodge, both of Cowden.
She married Albert Cihak, Jan. 11, 1925, and he died April 23, 1971.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Burl (Jean) Mitchell and Mrs. Arlene Moore, both of Effingham; two brothers, Guy Phipps of Mattoon and Oscar Phipps of Arthur; two grandchildren and three great-grandchidren.
Two brothers, two sisters and one grandson preceded her in death.
