A native of Shelby County, Mr. Austin was born July 25, 1946 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Franklin Austin and Peggy Lee Morgan Austin both of Fayette County. Mr. Austin was educated in the Memphis City Public School System and was a 1964 graduate of Tech High School.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Austin were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 9th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on U.S. Highway 64.
