Clifford George Lisle Passed away peacefully at his home in Shelton, Washington on August 31, 2011. His wife Taeko was at his side. Cliff was born on March 26, 1927 in Ocosta. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1945, and left to serve in the US Navy. Cliff traveled across the Pacific, where he met Taeko in Japan. After his service, he returned to Aberdeen and began to earn the reputation as the "go to" welder in Grays Harbor. Cliff was an active Boy Scout leader, lifetime VFW member, avid contra dancer, and a skilled craftsman. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, his children Ed, Ken, Mitzi, Jen, and George, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Ike, aunt Dollie, and uncles Jim and Mike. Cliff Lisle will be cremated at the Woodlawn and Forest Funeral Home in Olympia. A celebration of his life will be held at the Mason County Senior Center in Shelton on September 18th,2011
