Carrie is the daughter of Lieugene Adams and Lenora Cobb. She married Roy Lee Narron, son of Buck Narron and Bettie Boone

Carrie Adams Narron, age 93, passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wilson County on November 30, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Leiugene Adams and Nora Cobb Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Narron Sr.; son, Roy L. Narron Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jean Narron; 1 grandson, Kenneth Narron; and three sisters.
Mrs. Narron was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church for 63 years. Along with her husband, they were lifetime farmers in the community and also operated Narron Grocery on Bend of the River Road.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves behind her daughter, Carolyn Abrams and husband Cooper, III of Willard UT; son, Kent Narron and wife Carolyn of Castalia NC; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives 7:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, September 9, 2011 at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Mrs. Narron will be held at 11:00am Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Union Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Brooks and Rev. Carroll Wiggs officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Branch Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
