He was survived by his wife Eleanor Leichter Schucking, daughter of Carl Paul Lenhard Leichter and Julia Schuetze Leichter, his brother Bernhard O. Shucking and sister, Mrs. William Graf. His last residence was at 1801 Broadway, San Francisco.
