Thomas Glenn Daugherty, 67 of Pascagoula, MS went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in Pascagoula.
He was born March 7, 1944 in St. Petersburg, FL. He grew up around Mobile, Alabama, but moved with his family to Pascagoula in the summer of 1961. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1963 and was employed as an inside machinists at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula and other local machine shops. In August of 1967, he was saved at the Bible Baptist Church, of Pascagoula, were he was a member for forty-four years. He is now with his beloved Saviour.
He was preceded in death by His parents, Austin and Sarah Daugherty and his grandson, Ethan Daugherty. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Jean (Vaughn) Daugherty, sisters, Alice O'Brien, Betty Sue (Anthony) Buckley, brothers, Charles (Angie) Daugherty, Claude (Olene) Daugherty, and Glenn (Kerri) Daugherty, children, Para Daugherty, Rebekah (Morgan) Farmer, Timothy (LaDonna Fulton) Daugherty, James (Elizabeth McDaris) Daugherty, Sharon Daugherty, Stephen (Emily Herring) Daugherty, Anna Daugherty, Beth Daugherty, Sarah (Mark) Amos, Hannah (Joe) Digangi, grandchildren, Anna, Nathan, Caleb, Joshua, and Levi Farmer; Clarissa and Celeste Daugherty; Andrew, Matthew, and Samuel Daugherty; Jacquelynn Daugherty; Abigail and John Thomas (Amos); along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
