Mrs. Margie Seale Stewart, age 89, died Tuesday, July 19 at Houston Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 20 at Houston First Baptist Church. Burial was in Houston Cemetery with Rev. Dan Clevenger officiating.
The wife of the late Rev. W C Stewart of Houston, she was a homemaker. She was born in Calhoun County and lived most of her life in Chickasaw County and a member of the Houston First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Wilma Stewart Moore of Corinth, one son, Clayton R. (Buddy) Stewart of Tupelo, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ira Bagley, Billy Davis, Bill Smith, Bob Dendy, Fred Hayton and Harold Frazier.
Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
