Mrs. Foreman was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. During her younger years she worked in the ticket booth of the Lyric Theatre in downtown Lake Charles. She also worked as a lunch lady at Prien Lake Elementary and a cook at Stop & Shop Grocery and Chardelle's Truck Stop. Mrs. Foreman enjoyed cooking, painting, water color and most importantly, garage sales. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Foreman will be most remembered for her sweet, kind, gentle spirit and her forgiving character.
She leaves to cherish her memory, five children, Debbie Monceaux and husband David of Lake Charles, Jimmy Foreman and wife Kayla of Vinton, Barbara Bertrand and husband Jeffery of Lake Charles, Terry Foreman and wife Teresa of Moss Bluff and Kenneth Foreman of Lake Charles; one sister, Mildred Naquin and husband Vance of Lake Charles; one brother, Roy L. Benoit and wife Carolyn of Big Lake; sister-in-law, JoAnn Benoit of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great- grandchildren and special nephew, Jessie Benoit of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of fifty years, Gabriel Foreman, Jr.; brother, Leland J. Benoit; niece, Marjorie Naquin; parents, Joseph Anteall Benoit and Pearl Jensen Benoit.
