Mrs Julia Edna Stricland Fisher McLemore Bray, 79 of 120 Sandy Acres Lane, died Sunday at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. McLemore Bray, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Lloyd Washington and leolar Tucker Strickland. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Fisher and second husband, Richard McLemore. She was a member of the McGee's United Methodist Church and a retired seamstress.

She is survived by her third husband, Franklin Bray, Sr, three daughters, Ruby Turner and Barbara Jean Poffenberger and husband Larry all of Clinton, and Michelle Butler of Nashville, NC; one step-daughter, Rose Peavey of Marshall County, KY; and three step-sons, Franklin Bray, Jr. of Clinton, Lesley Bray of turkey and Matthew Bray of Rutherfordton, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and seven step-grandchildren.

The family recieved friends from 6-8pm Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home in Clinton and other times at the home of her daughter in Clinton.

The funeral services were held at 2pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the royal Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dorothy Rudd officiating.

Burial was made in the Clinton City Cemetery.
