He was retired from the U.S. Capitol, Washington, D.C., as a cabinet maker. He was also a coach for Little League baseball and loved camping, hunting, and fishing with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helen; two daughters; one grandson; two brothers; two sisters; and one sister-in-law.
He was a son of the late Robert Earl and Naomi (Savage) Bowser. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Ivan, and Carl.
