Elizabeth Pearl Henry, 80 years of age went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 5, 2011. She was born on June 6, 1931 and was a very loving and giving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Roy L. "Doc" Henry as well as her parents Harold Willis Pearl & Elizabeth Dinn. One sister also preceded her in death Jean Marie Pearl Jenson. She is survived by her three sons, Harold Lee Henry (San Juanita Sauceda) of Hebbronville, Dana Charles Henry (Mary Emma Maldonado) also of Hebbronville and John David Henry of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her two loving daughters Lorine Jones Henry of San Antonio and Kathleen Jones Ault (Morton) of Helotes, Texas. Also surviving Mrs. Henry are her eight beloved grandchildren David Lee Henry (Lizette), Charles Lee Henry (Jennifer), John Paul Henry, Lee Ann Salinas (Bobby), Ann Marie Henry, Lisa Yvette Ramirez (Cleo), Sarah Kaitlan Ault and Morton Roy Ault. Surviving Mrs. Henry also are her eleven great-grandchildren; Brianna Lee Henry, Brittany Lynn Henry, Bailyn Lorine Henry, Carlo David Salinas, Ella Nicole Salinas, Britt Lee Henry, Brook Lynn Henry, Xavier Rivera III "Buddy", Thomas Chance Rivera, Anissa Martinez and Makayla Henry.

Serving as active pallbearers will be David Lee Henry, Roberto 'Bobby' Salinas, John Paul Henry, Charles Lee Henry, Cleo Ramirez Jr. and James Benjamin 'Ben' Thomas. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Frank Soliz, Jose Angel Saenz III 'Kanke', Armando Benavides, James Thomas, Corando Pena, Jorge Herrera, Beto Avila, Vernon Wallace, William Habeeb and Daniel Ruidant.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Doctors and their staff at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital for the care provided during her illness. The family would also like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Mrs. Maria Ortegon for all her love and kindness.

A Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Alaniz Funeral Home of Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in Hebbronville, Texas.
