HOLTON-Mrs. Goldie Irene Faunce, 54, Holton, died of natural causes Friday, May 1, 1987, at a Topeka hospital
She was born March 3, 1933, at Wetmore, the daughter of William and Ada Smith Boyce. She spent most of her life in Holton.
She first was married to Joseph Allen Carter. They were divorced. He died April 2, 1972. She married Clarence Faunce in June 1948 in Valley Falls. He survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Linda Kay Ratliff, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Sue Newberry, Topeka; Mrs. Joleen Kirk, Goff, and Amy Carter, Holton; a son, Jim Faunce, Denison, two sisters, Mrs. Marie Winters, Holton, and Rose Boyce, Wamego; two brothers, Ernest Boyce, Topeka, and Harvey Boyce, Kansas City, Kan.; and eight grandchildren,
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery.
