DOWNER - Mrs. Fannie I. Downer, 77, of 416 West Fifteenth, a resident of Kansas City 70 years, died early today at a nursing home at 3940 McGee. Mrs. Downer was born at El Dorado Springs, Mo. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mrs. Downer attended a Baptist church. She leaves her husband, William W. Downer of the home; a half sister, Mrs. Ralph Young, 428 West Fifteenth; a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Mae Young, Oak Grove; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday at the Muehlebach chapel. Burial will be in Mount Moriah cemetery.
