Naomi Miller, 60, of Olney, Rt. 5, passed away yesterday afternoon at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. R. E. Dowden officiating. Interment will be in the Hanna Cemetery northwest of Noble. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday (today).

Mrs. Miller was a lifelong resident of the county and was the daughter of Otis Stacey and Fannie Gallagher Stacey. She was married to George Miller on Nov. 4, 1933 in Richland County.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Olive Branch Church. She had been employed in the Olney branch of the Florsheim Shoe Co. for 14 years and worked as a nurse's aide at Richland Memorial Hospital for a long period of time. An ardent horse enthusiast, she was active in saddle clubs in Clay City, Salem, Fairfield, Wayne City, Albion and Bone Gap. She had won many trophies for her skill and competition.

Surviving are her husband, George and six children; Mrs. Alene Myers of Clay City, Ivan Miller of Marion, Mrs. Doris (Jeannie) Shryock of Aurora, Jack Miller, Dickie Joe Miller and Jerry Miller, all of Noble. There are 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She leaves two sisters: Mrs. Charlene Tate of McLeansboro and Mrs. Angelene Curry of Olney.

Her parents, one grandson, Ty Everett Miller, and four brothers have preceded her in death.
