Rawleigh Oliver Allen, 41, London, died at 8:10 p.m. January 22 at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington. A native Laurel Countian, he was born Feb 5, 1930, the son of Dora Allen, Rt 2, London, and the late John C. Allen. He was married January 14, 1953 at Morganfield, Ky. to the former Evelyn Stines, who with 6 daughters and 7 sons survive. Louise, age 17, Juanita, age 16, Everett, age 14, Reba, age 13, Ricky, age 10, Dallas, age 9, Delbert, age 8, Wilburn, age 7, Rosetta, age 6, Shirlene, age 5, Ruben, age 4, Brian, age 3, and Jitanna, age 14 months, all at home. Other survivors are 3 sisters and 3 brothers, Ethel Brown, Clorene Hibbard,John Earl and Robert Raymond Allen, all of Rt. 2, London; Mrs. Lola Ervin, Forest Park, Illinois,and Leonard Allen, Hamilton, Ohio. Mr. Allen was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
