Va., up to 1890; in cattle business 12 years; to Topeka 1902; Griggs & Moneypenny, dealers in hardware, implements and buggies, since 1902; dir. Keystone Oil Co., and interested in oil stock, W. Va. Store: 206-08 W. 6th.

Jesse L. Moneypenny

Funeral arrangements are pending for Jesse L. Moneypenny, 97, 1322 Western. he died Friday morning in a Topeka nursing home.

He was born June 28, 1862, in Churchville, W. Va., and was a resident of Topeka since 1902. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a retired agent for the Victory Life Insurance Co.

He is survived by two sons, Paul C. Moneypenny of West Englewood, N.J., and Kent B. Moneypenny of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Miss Orah Monneypenny of the home and Mrs. Roland J. West of Ithaca, N.Y.; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

The Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
