William Gilson, 74 years old, died at his home in Lake Odessa Sunday morning following a lingering illness of heart trouble. He had been a carpenter by profession and an outstanding musician, having been choir leader of the local Congregational church for the last twenty-five years and a band director in the community for many years.
He leaves the wife and two sons, Chalmer, of Jackson and Leon T., of Lake Odessa.
The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
