SHERIDAN HOUSEWIFE SUCCUMBS THURSDAY

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Longley, 45, of Sheridan route 2, died in a local hospital late last Thursday, following a short illness.

Survivors include her husband, E.J. Longley, and seven sons and three daughters, Richard, Clifford, Darrell, Robin, Terry, Star, Grady, June and Roseanne of Sheridan, route 2, and Mrs. Maxine Nemire, Forest Grove. Her mother, also survives, as do seven brothers, Clifford, Jay and Max Bird of Wallowa, Richard and Robin Bird of Enterprise, Fred and Henry Bird of Joseph; and three sisters, Mrs. James Kooken of Pocatello, Idaho, Mrs. Carl Reed and Mrs. Sam Huffman of Joseph.

Mrs. Longley was born in Vancouver, Wn., on Dec. 16, 1895.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Macy and Son Chapel, with Rev. S.J. Osborne officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial park.
