Orville C. Gray

BRIGHAM CITY/WILLARD – Orville Call Gray, 94, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2006 at the Pioneer Care Center.
He was born on December 18, 1911, in Bench, Idaho, a son of Andrew Ames and Alva Call Gray. He married Tyyne Luoto on September 20, 1940. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan, LDS Temple on December 13, 1956. She passed away in January of 1973. He married Sue Larkin on June 6, 1973. They were later divorced. He married Leone Crowther Cazier on October 1, 1981. She died in August of 1997.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. He served for many years in the Scouting Program and in the Sunday School. He loved his country and served in the Navy in WWII, where he received his electrician certification. He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars until his health no longer would let him.

He loved playing baseball, dancing, and spending time with his family. He loved to farm and was the owner/operator of Gray's Orchard in Willard until the late 70's. During that time he also worked as an electrician for UP&L and DDO until he retired.

Surviving are his three daughters: Ellen (Frank) Gillespie, Valerie (Carl) Jensen, both of Farmington, and Dorothy (David) Call of Willard. 3 step-children: Nadine (John) Buist, Brigham, Sharon Jacobsen (Gary), Las Vegas, Jack (Margaret) Cazier, Roy; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard 1st Ward Chapel, 80 North 100 West, Willard.
Interment will be in the Aultorest Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded.
