Albert Tipton married the daughter of a Baptist Preacher, named Jane C. McClurd on January 18, 1875.

Albert was the sixth child born to his parents.
He passed at age 81.

Family lore has it that this family is the origin of the name "Seven Devils", now known as a popular ski resort town. Family legend tells the story of 'seven devils' and 'seven angels' born in the family.

These were the seven daughters and seven sons born to Billy and Eliza Shell Winters.
