FUNERAL YESTERDAY NEAR CLARENCE FOR MRS. HARRY GORDON
MADISON, April 3, 1951---Mrs. Harry Gordon, 51, died Saturday morning in a Kirksville hospital after an illness of rheumatic fever and other complicatons.
Mrs. Gordon is survived by her husband and seven children; Kenneth and Harry James Gordon, near Holliday; Lloyd and Glenn Gordon, Woodville; Mrs. Eugene Copenhaver, Clarence; and Anna Louise and Harold Lee Gordon of the home.
She also is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Orph (Beulah) Boulware, Madison, Mrs. Frank (Bessie) Holder, Clarence, Mrs. Bill Johnston, Cairo, Mrs. Dick Heathman, Granville, and Mrs. Ruth Johnston, Shelbyville; two brothers, Luther Legrand, Clarence, and Roy Legrand, Shelbina; and a half-brother, Glen Rainey of Eppworth.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gordon were held Monday afternoon at Hager's Grove, seven miles northeast of Clarence. Miss Edmonia Milhollin, Merit Milhollin, Ted Milhollin, Mr. and Mrs. Selmon Milhollin and Mr. and Mrs. Logan Webb of Madison attended the funeral service.
The Gordons lived nine miles northeast of Clarence.
