Othel Hodges married Ruby Mae Laughlin on 16 December 1939 at Fort Worth, Texas.
The couple moved to Graham in June 1956 from Breckenridge, Texas.
Mr. Hodges was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a retired employee of Texaco, Inc. Othel Raymond Hodges completed 38 years of service with The Texas Pipeline Company and retired in 1971. He joined the Fort Worth Division of the company in 1933. During his career, he had served as pipe liner, truck driver, welder, gang foreman, oiler and stock gauger at Breckenridge and Graham.
Services were officiated by Jay Darnell, pastor of the Graham First United Methodist Church.
Survived by his wife; two sisters - Mrs. Irene Ballard of Smithfield and Mrs. Opal McGregory of Abilene.
