Amy H. Bramstedt, 72, of 119 South 11th Street. Oostburg, died Monday morning, October 4, 1993 at St Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, where she was a patient since Saturday.
She was born on September 7, 1921 in Oostburg, the daughter of the late Peter, and Mary Jane Kleinhesselink Lemke. Amy graduated from Oostburg High School in 1939, and attended Sheboygan County Normal School from 1939-1941.
On June 15, 1946, she married Raymond W. Bramstedt at First Reformed Church in Oostburg. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1975.
She taught elementary school at Hillcrest and Jefferson Schools in Sheboygan County for four years. Amy was a member of First Reformed Church in Oostburg and past member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman.
Her survivors include three daughters, Mary (Dale) Roerdink, Oostburg; Nancy (Paul) Jenson, Waupaca and Jayne (Robert) Nelson, Neenah; seven grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Kolste, Aaron and Angie Roerdink, Matthew and Michael Jenson, Amber and Brandon Nelson; two sisters, Margaret (F. N.) Paplawsky, of California; Phyllis ! (Ray) Crisp, Elyria, Ohio; one brother, ' Frederick Lemke, Washington D.C.; one brother-in-law, Ray Moran, Englewood, Colo.; cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one infant daughter, Dianne and one sister, Joan Moran.
Funeral services will be held at 11 : a.m., on Wednesday, October 6, 1993 at First Reformed Church in Oostburg with the Rev. Ray Tilstra, pastor, officiating. A family service will be held in the fellowship hall at 10:45 a.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m., in Immanuel UCC Cemetery in the Town of Herman.
