After marriage to Christie Cameron, Henry moved to the plateau at the top of Hadley Hill. His father, David, was located on lot 10 of the Dartmouth patent which was located at the foot of the Hadley Hill road.

Henry and Christie's graves were located in Dayton Cemetery which was located at the edge of their property on Hadley Hill. In about 2004, a new housing development resulted in the placement of the cemetery in the back yard of a home. The family patriarch, Paul Dayton, with the help of Ramon Orton and Jim Dayton, were responsible for exhuming his remains and relocating his gravestone and remains to the Dean Cemetery in Stony Creek. He is now buried on the plot of his son, Charles Erastus Dayton.
